Our Pergola Guarantee
Every pergola carries a written guarantee from Sterling Grid Security Ltd. Cover varies by component and by model — the Platinum structural frame is guaranteed for fifteen years.

These are voluntary guarantees given by Sterling Grid Security Ltd. They are not manufacturer-backed. The one-year cover on accessories is a Sterling Grid guarantee, not a statutory period — every guarantee here is additional to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
The structural guarantee depends on the base. It does not cover damage or failure caused, or materially contributed to, by an unsuitable or unlevel foundation, inadequate base preparation, failure to secure the supplied base plates correctly, unsuitable fixings, or installation contrary to the instructions supplied with your order. A minor departure does not automatically void the guarantee — what matters is whether it caused the failure. This is the most common reason a structural claim fails, and it is entirely within your control before the pergola arrives.
Getting the base right
Your groundworks need to be complete, cured and level before delivery. If you are unsure whether an existing patio or slab is suitable, ask us before you order — it is far cheaper to establish that now than after a crane has been booked.
What the guarantee does not cover: fair wear and tear · accident, misuse, neglect or wilful damage · installation defects · incorrect measurements supplied to us · unauthorised modifications · use outside normal domestic conditions · improper exposure to heat, steam or water · failure to follow our maintenance guidance.
